Cold Weather Playlist (Christmas Songs NOT Included)

These last few days have been dreary and cold.  I dug out my comfy slippers and sweaters and drank ridiculous amounts of tea, yet I still couldn't warm up or find comfort in any of these things.  That's when I realized I hadn't been playing the right kind of music to ease my way into the colder weather.  (While I LOVE Christmas music, I'm not quite ready to push play yet).  So I came up with a playlist and just like that, my spirits are back up and ready to go!

Local Natives released an iTunes Sessions album this week.  I have added every song from this album to my new playlist.  I am a sucker for harmonies and this band exceeds that!  There is something so calm, yet haunting when their voices combine.  This album, along with a lot of iTunes Sessions, is stripped down so that you feel as though they are playing a live acoustic set just for you!

Included in this playlist are other new releases as well as my personal favorites.  Click on the iTunes link next to the artist's name to play each song.

Happy Friday everyone and I hope this playlist jumpstarts your holiday weekend!
