Well another day in the history book. I'm not one to go off on a political rant but peoples lives are being put on hold, including the lives that serve to protect this country. I feel awful for these families. If we are not the one being directly affected we know many who are.
So to make lemonade out of congressional lemons I ask each and every one of you that are not being directly affected by this to help out your neighbor, your brother, your sister...after all THAT is the American way!
Whether it's providing a meal or making an extra loaf of bread to even help out a little, it's an act of kindness that goes further than you may realize. The acts of Congress do not represent us as Americans. We, as Americans, are stronger and far more concerned for the well being of others so let's take this opportunity to show that! I vow to help someone out in their time of need and I pray you do the same.
