Fashion Friday!

It's that time of year when you see those three dreadful words being advertised everywhere..."Back To School!"  Hearing it is enough to deflate your favorite blow up chair floating in your pool.  UGH!!! Summer just started! Ok, it is what it is and I don't want to make the same mistake I made last year waiting as long as I could to shop until I was frantically running from store to store rummaging through what was left. Since the kids are away with their grandparents this week, I ventured out alone with a two page list. Three hours later I had everything checked off!!! The best part was I even shopped for their clothes without dragging them out with me! 

So, I'm here to encourage you to go out and do your shopping now, if you haven't already! I made two stops yesterday, one to Target and the other to Old Navy and saved over $100!!! All school supplies I needed I was able to find at Target at great prices. Kids' clothes were even on sale! I love the Shaun White clothing line for my son. It fits his personality as well as being very comfortable for him! I went a bit crazy for my daughter but that's how it's supposed to be, right?  For all you Mommas out there busy shopping for your kiddos, now is the time to spoil yourself with some great sales at Target!  All of their adorable shorts are on sale as well as swimsuits.

Next stop was Old Navy.  They were having a fantastic sale on jeans for kids!  Normally they are marked at $19.50 for boys and $16.50 for toddler girls but all jeans were marked down at $10.  I bought two pair each for the kids along with shirts for my son and a dress for my daughter.

After all that shopping I met my husband and friends for drinks and dinner!  What was once a dreaded task of back to school shopping turned out to be a great day!
